OnlyCans: Thirst Date -- Accessories: Unreleased Pieces
OnlyCans: Thirst Date is an erotic comedy-horror can-dating rhythm game. The original game was made in a week and a half, with the Hot and Steamy DLC and a graphical upgrade happening over the month following release.
These models were made in this time period for cans that were replaced or pushed back for the sake of the overarching story. With OnlyCans ended, I can now release these models.
With the allowance of the game, I was able to design and model this high-poly earring without having to worry about performance.
In-game piercings were placed mostly in non-puncturing spots on the cans, which meant the rim. So the backing to pin-type earrings were modeled.2
These glasses were modeled based on the glasses of YouTuber and Musician , TheStupendium, who worked with us to make the music video for our game.
One of my design parameters and time-limitation work-arounds was to not actually ever have hair on any of the cans, so when requested to create a moustache for a Stupendium can, I opted for a cardboard cut out to be taped to the can.
